'Ede's Insect Plate' misprint

£40.00 On Sale

There are some tiny ink marks on some of these prints and they are ever so slightly misaligned.

This is a four colour reduction linocut print of a Chinese porcelain plate found in a cabinet in Jim and Helen Ede's cottage at Kettle's Yard, Cambridge. I have always loved this plate and head straight for it whenever I visit. It is tucked away and probably overlooked by many but the stylised insects draw me to them every time. I have tried to replicate this wonderful old piece of porcelain in this print. It is hand printed on beautiful Somerset paper using oil based inks.
